ACCREDITATION Courses are offered by the Pinellas Technical Education Centers(PTEC), accredited by the Council on Occupational Education. Individual programs may also be accredited by national and state accrediting agencies.

The Public Works Academy broadens training for employees in the diverse spectrum of industry and govemmental agencies. Working with the career, technical and adult education department of the School Board of Pinellas County, PWA has the means to implement high quality, in-house professional training programs geared to the individual needs of each organization. Employers who participate in this program are striving to upgrade the skills of their employees. The Public Works Academy is flexible, offering specific training programs developed for employees who are already on the job.
