Surveying Mapping Design
The successful conclusion of every Public Works project includes surveying planning and design. Students will demonstrate accumulated knowledge in both plane and advanced surveying. Coursework includes basic math place trigonometry and field methods for surveying in the horizontal and vertical planes. Board drafting and CAD (Computer Aided Drafting) supplement field classes to provide a complete surveying education. Career paths include construction surverying, boundary surveying, easement surveying and mining surveying.
